Boko Haram

The West will always over analyze a simple problem without understanding the history of the people and its culture. That is why they declared war on Afghanistan to route out few criminals- the result is over 10years of war, with human cost more than the problem that triggered the war. Prior to Nigeria independence, the people of Northern Nigeria have consistently declared they do not want any association with the people of Southern Nigeria. It was the British that compelled them to remain in Nigeria in order to have strangle hold on Nigeria. Finally when oil was discovered in commercial quantity in Niger Delta, the British became convinced that their only access to Nigeria is through the Northern Nigeria, that is why after the 1966 counter coup, when the northern army declared 'araba" (separation), the British forced them to change the slogan to "one Nigeria". What we are witnessing today is the "araba".Make no mistake about, Boko Haram will eventually overrun the North, whether anybody likes it or not. No amount of western intervention will solve the problem. Has the West solve the problem of Taliban in Afghanistan? This is just the beginning, the British and her cohorts will reap what they sowed.
