NGVs - Is this the solution?

I am afraid that putting in more or converted NGVs will not solve our problems of energy scarcity, our ever growing thirst for energy, fuel and food.. While we continue to work on innovative, efficient and renewable sources, we MUST work more aggressively to reduce the needs. That will be possible only with a control on global human population. More concrete steps are required in social sector to be able to control it and hence reduce loads on natural resources.
