Yes, CNG is at least an answer now. We can do this NOW! While we continue to develop alternate fuel concepts.
We will never make significant reductions in our useage of energy, but technology with time may reduce out dependence (short of population control -- if we did that we should eliminate idiots like the anonymous writer before me) on the fossil fuels.
