Both the taliban and the CIA are to blame

It's not only the Taliban that are hindering polio vaccinations - the fake vaccination drives orchestrated by the CIA - and the importance of these on current efforts to attempt polio - are vastly understated here. Not only does this pose grave health risks to Pakistanis (who are getting hep b instead of polio vaccines) but it also creates a serious (and understandable) aura of mistrust and suspicion.
