Update as of July 30

Since the writing of this report, several of the non-MANAS Bangla projects that were closed have received official intimation from WBSAPCS that they were indeed closed because of past organizational links they might have had with MANAS Bangla, as had been already speculated in the article. But there has been no separate enquiry into their finances or administration, and since their projects were autonomous, many perceive this to be an unjust and insufficiently explained decision based on guilt by association (moreover, even the allegations against MANAS have not been investigated by WBSAPCS except at one project, and those investigation reports have not been transparently shared).
