No, Mr. Wilson -The "Palestinians" need to make concessions.

Mr. Wilson presupposes that it is Israel's refusal to draw a border that is preventing a permanent peace in the middle east. Really? Does anyone really believe that if Israel were to give back 100% of the Pre-1967 borders that her Arab neighbors would allow her to live in peace? How about the 1948 borders? The Arab nations have steadfastly held to the conviction of a so called "right of return" for the descendants of the original refugees living in Israel. These descendants number in the millions, and no Arab government -- and certainly not the Arab street -- would acquiesce to their "betrayal". If Israel were to agree to absorb these so-called refugees, she would be ending her existence as a Jewish nation. If there ever is to be a true peace in the middle east, it is the "Palestinians" who need to make this one vital concession: Recognition of Israel as a Jewish nation. If "Palestinians" wish for Israel to recognize a "Palestinian" nation they should make this concession and proceed with the drawing of lines and security preconditions.
