diplomatic efforts required for Latin America.

US Diplomatic efforts require one thing - respect for the territorial integrity of every nation in the Western Hemisphere. This means, an end to US attempted overthrow of the governments of the various ALBA nations- esp Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia & Ecuador whether through bribery, blackmail, trade embargos, assasinations, promoting coup-d'etats, illegal funding programs etc. This means stop attempting to control or even influence internal programs - unless requested to do so by the respective nation.
If the US can respect their southern neighbours, Whether they be governed by leftwing, rightwing or centralist governments, the whole of latin America will be its friends - Castro and Chavez included.
