We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming meeting of the Study Group on Economics of Security in the Post-9/11 World.
The Bush Administration will present its Fiscal Year 2006 budget in early February 2005. Early indications suggest that the military budget might grow less than previously thought, and that some long-standing programs are being re-evaluated.
David Gold and William Hartung will lead a discussion of the U. S. military budget, its composition, projections regarding its growth and the implications for military policy and budgetary politics.
