World Policy Institute Names Former Wilson Center Chair Joseph Cari, Jr. As Advisory Board Chair

(NEW YORK, JUNE 4) The World Policy Institute has named Joseph A. Cari, Jr. to the newly created position of Advisory Board Chair.

“Joe Cari will be working to better engage and integrate Advisors in the World Policy Institute’s work to catalyze innovative solutions to global challenges that have not received the attention they merit,” said John H. Watts, Chairman of the Board of the World Policy Institute.

Joseph A. Cari, Jr. is Chairman & CEO of Integration Capital & Trade Global (ICTG), an international merchant bank.  In addition, Mr. Cari serves on the Boards of Amana Creative, a Paris based media company, and One Med Place, a web based health care information company. Mr. Cari was appointed by US President William Clinton as Chairman of the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars where he was credited with creating bipartisan congressional support for the Center and recruiting as its CEO the Honorable Lee Hamilton.  He is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations (New York) and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Loyola Marymount University Institute on Leadership (Los Angeles).  Mr. Cari lectures on American foreign policy at Loyola as well at the Lebanese American University in Beirut.
